About the role

The People & Capability (P&C) Business Partner is a newly created position reporting to the Senior Executive Officer/General Manager Human Resources and will join a diverse and fun team of seven (7) HR professionals.  This position will work closely with leaders and teams on workforce planning, employee relations, performance improvement and some recruitment activities.

About you

To be successful in this position, you will be passionate about partnering with leaders and teams to achieve positive outcomes for the organisation and be a champion of workplace culture and wellbeing and enhancing the employee experience.

You will also have:                                                                        

• Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business, or a related field
• Demonstrated experience as a generalist HR professional e.g. Advisor level
• Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act and other industrial legislation; experience and ability interpreting Awards and Agreements. 
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
• Ability to travel across Metropolitan sites as required
• Willingness to undergo a National Police Check and provide evidence of rights to work in Australia
• Experience in the NFP, Community Services, Aged Care sector will be highly regarded
