About the role: Our Human Resources department are seeking a Recruitment Specialist to continue the growth of our team. As an expert experienced recruiter for retail operations you will take ownership of end-to-end talent acquisition, ensuring we attract and retain top-tier talent. You’ll work closely with all level or leaders from executives to Area Managers, advising on recruitment strategy and championing best practices that strengthen Universal Stores employer brand. You’ll be familiar with navigating the challenges of a highly dynamic workforce, building strong relationships across the business. You will be confident and articulate in advising the business to continuously improve the recruitment and retention strategy, addressing the continued growth and upskilling of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and delivering end-to-end talent acquisition services that help us build an exceptional workforce.
  • Source, screen and interview candidates for various positions
  • Utilise various recruitment platforms and tools to attract top talent
  • Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
  • Shaping and evolving a forward-thinking recruitment strategy to meet our current and future needs.
  • Partnering with hiring managers and senior leaders to create tailored talent solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Manage end to end talent acquisition process
  • Leading the charge in values-based attraction strategies, using data-driven insights to inform hiring decisions.
  • Providing expert advice through reports, briefings, and strategic recommendations that enhance recruitment outcomes.

What we’re looking for?

  •  3- 5 years’ experience in internal recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, analysing, and supporting the onboarding process.
  • You will have previous experience in retail or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods recruitment from an internal recruitment position.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Experience in using a cloud-based HCM/HRIS such as Dayforce, Employment Hero, Workday etc.
  • An analytical and strategic understanding of the challenges facing the recruitment landscape.
