About Us:

Originally known as the Sydney Day Nursery Association, SDN’s first centre was opened in 1905. The Association was formed by group of women from Sydney’s affluent inner-Suburbs who recognised the dire need among working mothers, who found themselves the sole breadwinners for their family, for safe and reliable child care.  Today we operate over 30 centres across NSW and ACT.

At SDN Pyrmont we share and celebrate the unique cultural experiences of all children and adults, promoting empathy, understanding, respect and a strong sense of community. Our centre is a small 38 place space within a tight-knit Village feel located in a beautiful heritage listed building close to buses, light rail and walking distance to the CBD
