An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and professional Junior Corporate Lawyer with a keen desire to learn. This role offers the chance to work in an experienced, collaborative and supportive internal legal team providing legal advice and services in the fast growing aged care sector. You will be afforded the opportunity to further enhance your legal skills and experience within a leading provider of aged care services. 

Your outstanding proficiency in English, both verbal and written communication skills, combined with your exceptional organisation, time management, and prioritisation abilities, will contribute significantly to your success. 

Your role will include the following; 

  • Undertaking legal research and providing accurate and timely advice with a particular focus on Aged Care and and related regulatory matters and compliance 
  • Preparing and reviewing legal documents, correspondence, and reports Drafting and reviewing contracts and leases  
  • Staying abreast of legislative changes and updating company templates, precedents and policies 

As our ideal candidate will have the ability to work autonomously within a supportive team, have high attention to detail and a solution focussed approach, additionally you will have; 

  • Completed Australian law degree or equivalent 
  • Current Australian Practicing Certificate – NSW 
  • Ideally 1 year demonstrated experience in a similar position, within a professional organisation - preferred 
  • Ability to develop & maintain relationships with key stakeholders   
  • Strong research and analytical skills  
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills  
  • Ability to simplify complex legal challenges and provide clear recommendations and solutions 
  • Willingness to obtain a Police Check
