LET’S EXPLORE THE ROLE

To provide financial and analytical support for energy accounts, both payable and receivable, and associated budget management. Collate emissions and energy data for mandatory and customer reporting. Provide support for network service provider operational queries.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality assurance for external energy management service provider, including for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and accrual data.
  • Work with external partners to identify, record, and subsequently track opportunities and risks associated with energy costs.
  • Procurement of renewable energy certificates for surrender as required.
  • Compiling monthly cost and energy performance reporting, capturing external data inputs and internal overlays.
  • Oversee the processing of energy invoices and leading the approval process.
  • Supervision of the power recovery process with the aim of continuous improvement.
  • Coordination of dispute resolution in relation to energy billing.
  • Operational management of demand response programs.
  • Assist with the compilation of data from internal and external sources for energy and emissions compliance reporting.

 

LET’S HEAR ABOUT YOU

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel to support energy cost tracking.
  • Working knowledge of budgeting and accounting rules to be able to explain and validate a P&L position regularly.
  • Processing of large data volumes with variance management, tracking, and reporting.
  • Basic awareness of electricity supply, consumption, and associated carbon emissions.
  • Academic background and a degree level qualification within business, commerce, finance, or economics ideal
