The Role

We have big plans at Cable and we’re on the hunt for an experienced, creative and passionate Operational Field VM Manager to join our team!

As the Operational Field VM Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing seasonal visual merchandising strategies that align with our brand’s creative direction. You will play a key role in ensuring consistency across our store network, maximising sales impact and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Other responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Develop and implement VM direction to support product trends, seasonal promotions, and commercial objectives
  • Oversee new store openings and refurbishments, ensuring a seamless VM setup and training for store teams
  • Create and communicate VM briefs to the retail team, ensuring clear execution of visual standards.
  • Train and develop store teams to maintain high VM standards across all locations
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Marketing, Product, and Retail to ensure alignment on brand direction
  • Conduct regular store visits to monitor compliance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Manage and coach in-store managers, fostering growth and development in VM execution

 

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in Visual Merchandising, preferably in a multi-store retail environment
  • Strong leadership and training skills to develop and mentor teams
  • Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to align VM execution with commercial objectives
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with internal teams
  • Ability to travel interstate as required to support store openings and VM projects
  • Highly organised with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Excel and Microsoft office
  • A genuine love and understanding of our brand
  • A position ‘can do’ attitude
  • A current driver’s License and vehicle
