The role: ACH Group are seeking a motivated and detailed oriented Research and Grants Officer for a part time role (0.6 – 0.8 considered) based in the Mile End Office. Supporting the Senior Manager Research and Students, the Research and Grants Officer is pivotal in supporting research initiatives and grant administration, to ensure that research activities and funding opportunities are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and with maximum impact.

You could be an experienced Project Support Administrator seeking a career development with the opportunity to step into a more strategic role. Or perhaps you are a seasoned Executive Assistant looking to transition into a meaningful role that offers greater scope for project coordination and stakeholder engagement.

What you’ll do:
- Coordinate and maintain research partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the end-to-end administration of research projects, including planning, reporting, tracking, and monitoring.
- Assist in identifying, applying for, and managing grant opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records and databases to ensure reporting requirements are met.
- Monitor milestones, timelines, and budgets, and provide regular status updates to key stakeholders.
- Provide high-level administrative support as needed.
- Business partner to promote and support research.
About you!
- Degree level qualification in a relevant field.
- Understanding of research ethics and governance.
- Ability to build string relationship with various stakeholders.
- High level written communication and presentation skills, including demonstrated experience in report writing for senior executives/Board.
- Ability to interpret complex information and data.
- Experience in designing and managing a project from conception to completion.
- Strong organisational and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Demonstrated experience or understanding in one or more of the following:
- Stakeholder and partner engagement
- Research design
- Grant and tender submissions
- Evaluation and continuous improvement
- Research ethics and governance
- Planning and managing projects
- Policy and advocacy
- A Police Check for working in Aged Care less than 12 months old at commencement
